Ensure that you know the Wi-Fi SSID and password that you wish to connect the doorbell to.
Go to the Doorbell tab.
TaptheEdit icon, then tapSet Up Doorbell.
With the doorbell’s faceplate removed, tap Scan Doorbell. Hold your device 2 to 4 inches from the front of the doorbell to let your device scan the QR code.
Tap Configure Wi-Fi.
Select your Wi-Fi network, enter your password, then tap Continue.
Use your device to connect to the doorbell’s Wi-Fi network:
Android: Virtual Keypad will attempt to automatically connect to the doorbell’s Wi-Fi network and configure the Wi-Fi information for you. This may take a few seconds.
iOS: Copy the doorbell’s password. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your device. The doorbell will transmit an SSID for your phone to use that will be named HAP_ followed by the doorbell’s serial number. Select the doorbell’s SSID, then paste the doorbell’s password.
Tap Continue. When pairing is successful, the doorbell announces that it is connected to Wi-Fi.
When the configuration screen opens, give your doorbell a name.
Select the type of chime the doorbell is using:
If installing the video doorbell with a standard 16 V to 24 V mechanical doorbell chime, select Mechanical Chime.
If installing the video doorbell with a 16 V to 24 V plug in transformer, ensure the included fuse is installed, then select No Chime.
Tap Finish so Virtual Keypad can finish configuration.

When prompted, enter the passphrase for your Wi-Fi network. Tap Continue.
